Honeymoon Harbour is a Bimini-area beach stop known for its shallow water and visiting stingrays. It’s worth discussing when your group wants beach time rather than a busy afternoon ashore. The Bahamas tourism authority highlights the area among Bimini’s beach experiences.
Make this your main outing rather than treating it as a quick photograph between several other stops. Leave room to enjoy the setting and have lunch aboard if that suits the day.
Access and water activities depend on conditions and your captain’s assessment. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed; observe animals without chasing or handling them.
The Sapona: a snorkeling stop with a story

If snorkeling is a priority, mention it before choosing your yacht. Ask about suitable equipment, any guide arrangements and how an outing would fit your route. Don’t assume a snorkeling excursion is included simply because the yacht is visiting Bimini.
The right conditions and the group’s swimming abilities matter more than checking a famous location off the list. Your captain may recommend another plan.

North Bimini: beach time, lunch and a look around
Radio Beach is one of North Bimini’s established beach destinations. Alice Town also offers a different side of the trip, including the Dolphin House Museum, highlighted by The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism.
This is the option to discuss if some guests want to step ashore, find lunch or explore instead of spending every available hour in the water.
Going ashore needs its own plan. Confirm a suitable marina or landing arrangement, transport if needed, current opening hours and enough time to get everyone comfortably back aboard. A place being close on a map does not mean your yacht can pull up outside it.
Keep one part of the trip completely unplanned
Not every worthwhile moment needs a destination name. Lunch aboard, a shaded seat and time to talk can be the part everyone remembers.
- Mostly water time: ask about a suitable beach or snorkeling outing, with fewer stops ashore.
- A little of everything: combine one water experience with a manageable visit ashore, if timing allows.

Can we visit every place in this guide in one day from Miami?
Don’t plan on it. Whether individual stops fit depends on the yacht, crossing conditions, clearance, local access and time available. Choose priorities and have the route assessed before booking.
Can any private yacht make the trip to Bimini?
No. Yacht suitability, operating arrangements and availability need to be confirmed specifically for a Bahamas itinerary. A yacht offered for a Miami day charter is not automatically available for Bimini.
Can we reserve a beach club or restaurant as part of the trip?
